SABAH SNAKE GRASS (Clinacanthus Nutans)
Belonging to the Acanthaceae family the name of this herb is known in Malaysia & Singapore as the "Sabah Snake Grass". (Sabah is a state in Malaysia) The Chinese name is “You Dun Cao”. Its Malay name is Belalai Gajah or Tarum Siam and in Indonesia, it is known as Dandang Gendis. It is fast growing and can multiply through stem cuttings. Traditionally it was used as a herb to cure snake bite. It is believe to be able to neutralized the poison from snake bites. Traditionally, it is well known for its healing properties which includes curing cancer, kidney problems, sore throat, uric acid & gout problems, uterine fibroid, prostate inflammation and even skin problems like eczema, shingles, and psoriasis
